福建古早味 - 华绅风味美食

29 March 2010

I came across with this restaurant from Axian's blog. I was captivated by its signature traditional hokkien dish, fried chewy noodle (炒署粉糕) made from high protein powder, i guess.

It is located at plaza seri setia near Federal Highway. The environment gave a sense of insecurity to me when I walk around the plaza.

Well all I can comment is that I fell for their noodle. It looks and tastes like lao shu fen, but it is even more chewy.

However, I do not really like their frying. The taste wasn't as strong as hokkien fried mee that we normally eat at somewhere else. It just taste like home-cooked noodle.

Nevertheless, their fried eggplant is definitely my favourite. We were recommended by the staff to order this as snack. In fact, it is not snack.

And you should try their 封肉咸水糕 as well. I would raise my thumb up for its gravy.
