7th JuneToday is my birthday. We went to cheshire oaks for shopping in the morning. It is a street with many branded shops, including Polo, Gap, Sports Direct, Jane Norman and many others.
We went by bus (3++ pounds for day ticket) and it took us about one hour to reach. One of my friend's bro in law baught us donought from Krispy Kream. As the name tells, it is crispy as the donoughts are covered by a layer of sugar cream. I do not really like it because they are too sweet. I still prefer J co.
We came back at 6pm. Unfortunately, the dubai and cambridge key chains dropped without my knowledge. It was already late evening but I did not sense any sign of celebration yet. After we reached home, we prepared our dinner in rush.
When it was time to dine, everyone else has settled down while i was still busy filtering the layer of fat/oil on top of my chicken soup in the kitchen. Shu Mei rushed me to join them. I just told them to start their dinner first. I did not realize that the food was still intact when i came back to my seat.
As usual, i started drinking my soup once i sat down. Shu mei then voiced up that she has something to tell me. Without a second thought, i juz answered, "what's that?". A birthday song filled the dining room all in one second. It was not played from any audio device, but from their heart with most sincerity. Thank them so much. They explained that they did not have enough time to buy a cake from tesco. I felt sad as my birthday was going to end. Another one more year to go...
