Mill Wheel Ice Cafe

4 July 2010

There are a few branches but I went to the one located in Kepong on last Sunday. I read about this cafe on a forum and it was rated 5 out of 5. Given the exact coordinate, we decided to have a go with the help of the GPS.
To my surprise, it is a restaurant which extends to two units. It is not common that a restaurant which only specially sells ice to have such a big business.

I have neither visited Taiwan, nor watched Taiwanese dramas frequently. But the decoration inside the cafe just made me thinking of Taiwan. The little tables and chairs look quite similar as those that you see in kindergarden.

It not only sells ice, but also noodles, pizzas and side dishes. We ordered this mix platter as our dinner.

There are quite a number of categories for your selection, such as Porfrait, Ice Cake, and etc. Well, I do not really know the difference. Perhaps I will try all of them in near future. The yam ice cake was really nice. Unfortunately it was too sweet with the chocolate melt on top. It will definitely be sweet-eater's favourite however.

Have you ever thought of eating ice with cheese? Yes, you can try here. I am not a fan of cheese but I like this Mango Snow Cheese. The cheese was at the bottom, in white colour. Don't worry, you can't taste the smell of the cheese, but you can taste how chewy it is. It is perfect match to mix the chewy cheese which tastes a little bit salty with the mango ice.

Big Wok Ice is one of their signature dish except for the cheese series. At the price of only RM9.90, you can enjoy a big bowl of ice placed in a wok. Wonderful creation!!! I had a icy day with this Chocolate and Tea Big Wok Ice.

You must try this because I am going to rate it 5 out of 5 too. Don't miss it!!!
